MCT:November 18, 2008It wasn't even funny and was a stupid story line. I fell alseep watching it and had no desire to finish it. BUT, if you are looking for a family movie it is clean and good for the little ones.

MCT:November 17, 2008This film was alright but it certainly isn't the best film from dreamworks. The ideas behind the film were great but the characters just didn't work for me. An enjoyable film but not one I'd rush out to watch again. The ending was just silly. (15.11.08)

all right, I am really pissed.
I bought a DVD copy for this movie, thinking it's really funny, being a Jerry Seinfeld product and all, plus, Renee Zemwegger is in it. But I got really disappointed when I watched it. L-A-M-E! First of all, a romance movie between a bee and a human is not good. Secondly, the story is not too clear. You have one bee wanting to be free from the boredom of a bee's life, then that bee became a lawyer and sues every honey eating human. HUH? ummm.... I think I dropped my brain so this review stops right here, period. -

even though this ties up pretty well, it annoyed me. The most annoying part being the re-inforcement of the way people view and live in capitalist societies of today. Slaves to their roles as workers, they are allowed to "make the difference" and step up when they display heroism and "if they are so special"... It left me wonder what kind of crap we let kids watch. Seriously.

MCT:October 25, 2008Loved it. Barry is so cute and such a fun bee. This movie was really good and fun to watch. Me and my sister watched it together and she usually hates animated movies but she seemed to like this one a lot. For everyone who thinks this is a kid's movie, they are wrong it's plenty of fun for any one.

I watched this with my nephew today..
There are not to many diseny movies that come out today that can compare to the classic animations that once used to be an every movie ordeal for Diseny, but Bee Movie, done it's job.
Albert Enstine said if the Honey Bee goes extinct so would the entire human race. This movie does a great job of showing how important Bee's are to our livlihood and proves Albert Enstines point on a level that reaches every person from the youngest kid to the eldest adult. It's a scary reality that we must keep in our minds as Bee's are on the decline more then they ever have been in the past 700million years..
This movie done a great job pointing that out in a comical sort of way. -

It doesn't hit consistently enough to be worth a full recommendation, but Seinfeld is Seinfeld, and some of the jokes are very funny. Others...not so much, but that's what you get when you try to juggle between playing towards kids and adults. Warburton's voice acting is loud and annoying, but there are a bunch of nice cameos in the vocal department. A bee and a human in a semi-romantic relationship is just really fucked up. It's enjoyable, but it's certainly not good.

This was cute - nice message. A fair little family movie. The animation was fun - and a good little story just nothing really over the top here. I must admit I laughed harder at the same jokes when I watched Jerry Seinfeld doing them himself (in person) on the special features section then I did watching him deliver those lines as the bee - not sure why..and though I love Jerry his voice was weighing on me by the end of the movie..overall though cute little bee and cute little animation. The courtroom scenes for me were the funniest.

While there,s a lot of interesting idea that we can,t hide, it's all fucked itself in this stupid and dumb human story and all thoses stupid things that are unebelievable and everything. It was good, than it went bad. Why only Disney Pixar can do awesome animated movies thoses days?

MCT:September 17, 2008This film has some of the most entertaining trailers - Jerry Seinfeld trying to act the film out in real life was brilliant! It was enough to draw my attention and change my opinion about the film - which I expected to be yet another animation film that wasn't that interesting. Still not gonna see it.

I was very disapointed about this move. Of course they only show U the good funny part on TV, but those part were the only good part about that whole movie. I wouldn't go bye the video that's for sure.

It's a wild ride down parody street with lot's of corny jokes. The overall message is the important role that bees play on the environment. I like Patrick Warburton's voice talent.

not that great of a movie. especially compared to the cartoons that have came out in the last 5ish years. i mean if your up against shrek and nemo the movie had better be amazing.
