MCT:November 10, 2008Stupid, stupid stupid, and not really me at all. But it had one of the most hilarious individual scenes I have seen in my life. Two men on their glorius blades chasing each other through something that resemblemd a mall at maybe 3 miles per hour. And moves that shopped the skaters heads of! Man I loved that. I felt guilty for laughing, but laughed I did. Not frequently enough to push the grade up though.

This is definitely one of Will Ferrell's lesser efforts. Ferrell has some funny moments but they are offset by Jon Heder. I just don't get why this guy is popular. He is not funny or an effective straight man. Maybe the movie would have been better if they gave the part to Will Arnett who is always funny.

This one was a serious hoot. Will Ferrell is such a psycho, and Jon is such a girl. This could very well be a classic, but I don't know if I could watch it more than once.

MCT:October 30, 2008There was some comedic moments in this movie, but a strong majority of the movie was inadequate. Some parts in the movie it seemed like the movie was trying a little too hard to make the audience laugh and the ending was defiantly one of the weakest parts of the movie.

Will Ferrel is funny in EVERYTHING! He even does those "Funny or Die" things I love so much. Blades of Golry made me mess myself and I think the director owes me a new brain because this movie BLEW MY MIND!

Ferrell and Heder do make a good team. Both of their characters possess qualities and quirks that are similar to past roles but that does not lessen their performances but in fact adds to them by creating a familiar relationship with the audiences.
The movie provided laughs throughout, several via the skating and one of my favorite sequences is a chase scene between Ferrell and Arnett that will not be soon forgotten. This is one of the movies I can just think about and bust out laughing. "Blades" delivers for the kind of movie it is supposed to be. My only suggestion would be to bring a friend. -

While the acting isn't the greatest, everyone in this movie still accomplishes what they intended to do...which is make me laugh. It's an odd movie for sure, but it is also very original, which is a great relief in these days of the same old same old. Worth watching.

I thought this was really funny and usually i think Will Farrel films are too silly i think it may be due to the fact that the guy from napoleon dynamite was in ti which balanced out Will Farrel's character

A lot of fun for a brainless comedy featuring two actors who I could kind of go either way on. I suspect that in another five years we'll have all forgotten who Jon Heder is, and Ferrell seems ready to go the Jim Carrey route with his career. That being the case, this fun little flick will probably be quickly forgotten and will end up a rental gem in the future.

OMG i watch this movie like 5 times a night. I LOVE IT! will ferrell is soo funny and sexy wile jon heder is al cool and graceful. those two mixed together make one heck of a movie! p.s and having will ferrell so hot with his long hair and such makes it even better ^_^

at first i thought it s about gays but noooo. It s so funny and make me laugh for the whole film. Nice performances , Clothe and music. I love Will Fallow while he was singing 'My Hump'.// Jon Heder was so cool in the show 'Flash Gordon'and he is not gay for sure.
