If you were a fan of the series you will love the movie even moreso. The fashions were avant guard, the story lines were thought provoking and the acting was great!

As far as tv series movies go, it was amazing! It was like watching a S&TC episode that lasted for 2 hours. Great!

It shines in some individual moments, but as a whole it overstays its welcome and solidifies its contrived ongoings.

As a fan of the show, I was petrified that they would somehow ruin the series. Boy was I wrong. Heart wrenching and raw at times and hopeful in others. It is everything that you fell in love with on the series for. Nothing, and I mean nothing was out of character for these girls, not even the end. Even though it is somewhat predictable, the journey is what mattered the most. It reminded me why I fell in love with the series and why I have missed them so. No other series (or even film) will ever emulate the true archetypes of women and the language they speak (if you don't talk like this with your friends or your friends aren't giving as these girls are, GET NEW FRIENDS). Satisfying but left with a feeling that I will never see them again since no other series will ever come close to this (Desperate Housewives, Lipstick Jungle, Cashmere Mafia, I'm talking to you and you SUCK!).

It was good, not great. It should have been billed as an extra long episode instead of a movie.

Fun and Flirty - SATC Doesn't Disappoint!
I rounded up a group of my gal-pals for a fun Ladies Night Out! Cosmos all around. The movie was great and we were all totally "CARRIED AWAY"! I now have the soundtrack so I can enjoy the music beyond the movie theater. The songs are an eclectic mix of pop, techno, classic rock, and fun theme music all set to a seductive, city vibe. There's a typical music soundtrack, and then there's a Sex And The City soundtrack - this doesn't disappoint. The offerings from Fergie, India.Arie, and Jennifer Hudson (who also has a role in the movie!) lead off a great list of talented musical storytellers. Just checking out the sampler is a great appetizer to the movie....

I read some reviews that likened this movie to a long episode of the tv show. That is enough for me to steer far away from it. Although I did find it hard to make my way through the large lines of well dressed women as I left the theater Friday. They were all a-twitter about their summer event movie. I guess I'm not the right demographic.

When does Kung-Fu Panda come out.

The film has a story. It's better than any gory crap that young people watch these days.

This is the biggest pile of shit since god took a dump. I mean who wants to see four hookers, its not empowering to women its basically four women who only wants romeos. The is no plot like the series and its only design is make money out of folks who wants to make poetry and art out of visual shite.
