MCT:July 6, 2008My name is Patrick Beacham. I wrote and directed "The Audience Strikes Back," and yes, I know, I probably shouldn't be here at all, but this little film is my baby and of course extremely important to me.
More than anything else, "The Audience Strikes Back" is my very personal commentary on the things that most deeply concern me: Star Wars, the decline of film, belief in God, Christian fundamentalism, the war in Iraq, the environment, abortion, gay rights, Microsoft vs. Apple, Grand Theft Auto.
If these things concern you too, I think you will enjoy film - and perhaps find my outlook just a little surprising . . .
