After being busted twice for illegally lighting up in public facilities, Shia LaBeouf’s come up with a way to satisfy his nicotine addiction that won’t land him behind bars. The Indiana Jones star has invested in NicStiic, a smokeless device that uses a heating coil to dispense nicotine into the bloodstream.

An insider tells Star: “Shia needs his nicotine fix so badly, he can’t go without it.”

    Munkybeans,
I couldn't help but notice your comment, and personally he smokes in public, he's smoked in places he isn't supposed to. And I don't think I'm butting into his life. I naturally think that it's very unhealthy to smoke every time I see someobdy on the street or in a car doing so. It's just a natural fact, not a judgemental one, that smoking is bad for your body. Now what he does is up to him; it's his life, his death, and his way to run the course of his future.
(Though I'm very glad where I live, there's is aboslutely no smoking allowed) *big smile*

I understand how addicted you get to cigarettes (why you should never start smoking in the first place and why companies still make money off of them *you get addicted to the nicotine*), but surely it would be much better to struggle through the battles of stopping, then to later suffer the horrible effects.

    munkybeans86,
'Ignorant'? Come now, surely you can turn up a more plausible statement.
Since when have cigarettes become good for your lungs. As I've been around healers 'or doctors/physicians as you call them' I've had the chance to study the effects, and none of them are very pretty.

Hair: can become smelling and stained
Eyes: can cause them to sting, water, and blink more, along with cataracts, and Macular degeneration.
Nose: affects your sense of smell and lessens it.
    Can cause thyroid problems.
Wrinkles the skin and causes premature aging.
Teeth: Can discolor them, loosen them, and then there's gum disease.
Throat: Lung cancer, duh! How do you think President Grant died? Lung cancer; he smoked a ton of cigars. It can reduce your sense of taste and it really doesn't smell nice.
Can cause poor circulation in your hands, make them tar stained, and something else, I forgot what.
Weakens your heart and may cause heart attacks.
Need I go on. There are many MANY more side effects.
